About
Dr Alan Pearce is a Senior Lecturer in Motor Control within the School of Sport and Exericse Science. With a background in exercise physiology and neuroscience, his research interests include neural adaptations associated with skill and resistance training, in particular the neural basis of cross education training. Alan also has an interest in applied sport science research to warm-ups, central fatigue and recovery, and vibration training.
Alan has an interest in racket sports but is also a keen recreational cyclist clocking up 200 km per week on various rides.
