About
My research interests are in histories of violence, gender, religion and memory with a particular focus on the Irish both in medieval and early modern Ireland and in the modern Irish diaspora.
I have held research fellowships at the University of Melbourne and Queen's University, Belfast and am currently lecturer in history at Victoria University, Melbourne. I am one of the editors of the Australasian Journal of Irish Studies.
